And as every roots album needs a unity number and a reggae rallying cry, Rebel and Half Pint offer up the fiery "Rainbow People," while Rebel alone delivers up "Reggae a Come," an impassioned homage to the genre. There's not a less-than-inspired number on this set, and although dancehall fans may prefer its predecessor, the roots set will find Rebellious far more to their liking. They're both equal masterpieces from one of Jamaica's most eloquent and thoughtful artists.
Atlantis (Ancient Greek: Ἀτλαντὶς νῆσος, "island of Atlas") is a fictional island mentioned within an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato's works Timaeus and Critias, where it represents the antagonist naval power that besieges "Ancient Athens", the pseudo-historic embodiment of Plato's ideal state in The Republic. In the story, Athens repels the Atlantean attack unlike any other nation of the known world, supposedly giving testament to the superiority of Plato's concept of a state.

A popular idea is that the Atlantis myth is associated with the fate of Thera, now the Greek island of Santorini, which was partly destroyed by a volcanic eruption about 3,600 years ago. But many, if not most, scientists think we will never tie Atlantis to a real location. But Atlantis is not the only legend of a sunken city. Similar tales are told around the world, and it now seems that some of them are true. Plato was living in a volcanically and tectonically active part of the world where massive earthquakes and tsunamis were not usual. These myths provide a window upon those events that can be recovered, retrieved and even dated.
Atlantis is a music studio album recording by EARTH AND FIRE (Symphonic Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1973 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. 1973 followup to "Song of the Marching Children", but I felt it was just a notch down. The album, entitled "Atlantis", of course, is a concept album on the rise and destruction of Atlantis (something ELOY would do four years later for their album "Ocean"). This album is pretty much in the same vein as its predecessor, so really little has changed in the band in those two years.
