Antoine Duhamel (born July 30, 1925), is a French composer, orchestra conductor and music teacher. Born in Valmondois in the Val-d'Oise département of France, Antoine Duhamel came from a cinematic family and studied music at the Sorbonne. He wrote the score for his first film in 1960, going on to work with many of Europe's most outstanding film directors.

Antoine Duhamel, Georges Delerue : Suite Jean-Luc Godard ( Pierrot le Fou, le Mépris). dur. Antoine Duhamel. Pierrot Le Fou - 8. La Mort Bleue. Pierrot Le Fou - 5. Sans Lendemain. Pierrot Le Fou - 3. Soirée Perdue. Pierrot Le Fou - 7. Twist. Pierrot Le Fou - 2. Pierrot.

Antoine Duhamel (30 July 1925 – 11 September 2014) was a French composer, orchestra conductor and music teacher. Born in Valmondois in the Val-d'Oise département of France, Antoine Duhamel was the son of the French writer Georges Duhamel and actress Blanche Albane. He studied music at the Sorbonne. He was a pupil of René Leibowitz, an exponent of Arnold Schoenberg’s dodecaphonic and serial method of composing

Antoine Duhamel has written one of the outstanding cinema scores in movie history with his music for the surrealistic movie by Jean Luc Godard Pierre Le Fou. The atmosphere and the feelings of the situations in and around the characters is described perfectly and encompasses you completely. He does the same for Godard's best movie Week-End. And don't forget to check out Duhamel's other work - there's an album on the same label called "Le Cinema de Antoine Duhamel" which is also highly recommended.
